Blackboard at the Beach is situated near Lake Ainsworth in the beachside town of Lennox Head, directly opposite the beautiful Seven Mile Beach. It is operated by Felisa Earley and Ben Beesley. Blackboard at the Beach delivers a relaxed dining experience which demonstrates the laidback feeling of this coastal village, while still delivering high quality food and friendly, efficient service.
Head Chef Lachlan Carter delivers his innovative modern Australian menu with flair. Using local, fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation, the dishes are kept simple to let the flavours speak for themselves. All menus are changed seasonally, with daily blackboard specials utilising the freshest ingredients so that there is always something new to experience.
Blackboard is a great place to go for dinner on Friday or Saturday night - enjoy a romantic dinner for two or come with your group and enjoy fine food and great service.
Blackboard at the Beach opened its doors for the first time in July 2007 and has gained a reputation among the locals and tourists alike as the place to go for a quick coffee straight off the beach, a lazy breakfast or lunch with a loved one or for a special occasion.
